Emirates Airline Contest
Arsenal (Singapore) Club is pleased to announce a new competition for members to win a pair of return economy class tickets on Emirates Airline from Singapore to London. The competition will run from Saturday April 3, 2010 until the end of November 2010 (last LIVE telecast match of Arsenal at Modesto's Elizabeth for the month), with the winner to be announced by mid-December 2010. The prize is worth at least SGD$2,500 and has been generously donated to us by Emirates Airline, the official sponsor of Arsenal Football Club.
The competition is open to all members of the club, with the exception of the club president, vice-president and secretary, who will administer the competition and whose joint decision is final.
The winner of the competition will be the member with the most points earned at the end of the competition period. Points are earned as follows:
-- 10 points for renewing your membership for the 2010/2011 season
-- 10 points for referring a new member to the club
-- 5 points for an original receipt from Modesto's Elizabeth on a match night featuring a live Arsenal game
-- 1 point per post on the Arsenal Singapore website forum
-- other opportunities to earn points for taking part in club activities during the competition period to be announced
The following terms and conditions apply. Please read carefully:
1) A maximum of 50 points can be earned by referring new members to the club. Each new member must state the full name of the referrer when signing up in person at Modesto's Elizabeth on match nights. No claims of referral will be accepted after this point. Referrals are only for new signups, not renewals or previous members who have lapsed memberships.
2) Only one receipt per member per match night is valid for this competition. Receipts must be for match nights at Modesto's Elizabeth featuring live Arsenal games and must be timestamped between 1 hour before kickoff to 1 hour after the final whistle. Receipts for all other dates, times or all other Modesto's outlets are NOT valid for this competition. Members must keep their receipts and hand them in at the end of the competition period at a time to be advised. Receipts can't be shared between members. They must be original (no photocopies), legible and clearly state the date, time and outlet. Illegible and torn receipts will not be accepted.
3) A maximum of 25 points can be earned from posts on the Arsenal Singapore website forum. Posts must be made during the competition period and must be valid posts, not spam. Members will be required to advise of their forum name and forum email address for verification purposes.
4) In the event that there is a tie for the most number of points, a public draw will be made to decide the winner. The result of the draw will be final.
5) Once the winner is named, he/she will be responsible for confirming travel plans with Emirates Airline directly and will be subject to any conditions given by the airline. The flight tickets must be used by 31 March 2011.
6) This competition is ONLY for flight tickets. The winner must make his/her own accommodation arrangements and may apply for Arsenal match tickets through the club, all at his/her own expense. The tickets are NOT transferable, not exchangeable for cash or other destination or other carrier and must be used by the winner and both tickets must be used together for the same flights.
7) To take part in this contest, simply send an email to emiratesaircontest (at) arsenalsingapore (dot) com with your full name, membership number, telephone number, name of travel companion if you should win, and the following paragraph:
"I would like to take part in the Emirates Airline ticket contest and have read the terms and conditions for the contest as published on www.arsenalsingapore.com and agree to abide by them without any reservations. I also agree not to hold Arsenal (Singapore) Club or any members of the executive committee liable for any incidents arising from taking part in this contest or while using the prize tickets.

8) All decisions by the judges are final.
